Shadyann a log cabin rental and Rocking Horse Ridge log cabin rental, both nestled off the beaten path in the Foothills of Wears Valley, Tennessee, and is surrounded by natural preserved woods located close to an entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, a stones throw away is a flowing creek. In the quiet of the night you can hear the soothing and peaceful sound of nature flowing over the bedded stones.
Shadyann is a newly built full log cabin and has every amenity you need for a private and secluded mountain cabin vacation in this wooded paradise. The vast great room has knotty pine covering the walls and ceiling, Queen sleeper sofa with added memory foam for your comfort. The large glass windows provide a view of the wooded surroundings. The open kitchen design along with the hardwood flooring through out the cabin provides spaciousness along with the Master suite with king size bed on the main floor. Up the beautiful wood stairs is another suite with queen size bed , bath and sleeping loft providing two twin beds. Satellite television is provided in the Great room and all bedrooms.
Shadyann will sleep 12 persons comfortable, we provide linens and towels for your needs.
There are two large decks wrapping around the sides to provide plenty of space for large family cookouts and gatherings and a hot tub for relaxing and enjoying the peace of the countryside. Rocking chairs and a porch swing are also provided for just sitting and enjoying the view.
For inside fun, there is a game room in the basement level with an air hockey table, satellite television and other games.
Shadyann and Rocking Horse Ridge, both has an outside firepit for your enjoyment year round. Firepit rules apply for your safety.
Rocking Horse Ridge is also newly built full log cabin rental, and a little more on the rustic side. Privately owned and operated on preserve resort wooded land. It's decorated with a horse theme in mind. The cabin has one main master bedroom with king size bed, join in with a pool table and futon for comfort or extra sleeping quarters, accompanied with tub and shower. Upstairs you have a Greatroom, with queen sleeper sofa with memory comfort added, over stuffed chair, and wood burning fireplace. (Sorry we close our fireplace for off season during the months of May thru September for you safety). The upstairs bath has a whirlpool tub for relaxing after a hard day playing in the mountains. Our kitchen has full amenities, including dishes, glassware, pot and pan for cooking. Bar-B-Que Grill for having those family get together.
Rocking Horse Ridge will sleep 6 persons comfortable, we provide linens and towels for your needs.
Wrap around decks and plenty of rockers and swings. Hot tub for relaxing and enjoying the view daytime or night.
40+ acres with trails and logging roads. Friendly neighborhood with ajoining properties. Take your time and enjoy the flowers and nature of the wooded area.
The furniture at Rocking Horse Ridge is rustic and most are hand made by a local craftsmen (Wade Richardson - Mountain Sage Gallery - Townsend) besure to visit the gallery which provide lots of local artist's works.
Shadyann and Rocking Horse Ridge is located in the heart of East Tennessee’s, Smoky Mountain vacation area. The cabins is located within minutes of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Townsend, known as the "quiet side of the Smoky’s". Pigeon Forge provides entertainment for all ages and is the home of "Dollywood". Gatlinburg is known for the artisans of Tennessee who display their wares on the drive through, their Galleries located on a loop road in town. Townsend gives way to the West entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Cades Cove, an 11 mile single lane drive that takes you back in time to what life was like in the Smoky Mountains during the preceding century with old churches, schools and homes actually lived in by the pioneers of Tennessee among herds of Deer and other wildlife native to the Valley. This end of the Smoky Mountain National Park offers many outdoor activities from fishing, horseback riding to just sitting under a tree with a picnic basket.
If you enjoy antiques, this is your dream. The local areas and township have plenty of shops and stores. Come visit us at our Antique Store in the community "Antiques of Wears Valley", located at 3115 Wears Valley Road (321), just across from the White Church.
